Having changed hands between England and Scotland 13 times (its now in England) Berwick upon Tweed is quite simply unique. Set on the Northern bank at the mouth of the famous river Tweed, encompassed by the still intact Elizabethan walls, this bustling little town boasts all the modern amenities in its medieval setting. Excellent restaurants and pubs abound, both in and around the town helping to make this a perfect base for attacking Golf Courses on both sides of the frontier.

Magdalene Fields Golf Club - Berwick upon Tweed. With its daunting 6th holes played over the North Sea this seaside course has wondrous views south to Lindisfarne and is played in the shadow to the towns famous Elizabethan Walls.

Goswick Links. Six miles south of Berwick lies the sleeping giant of a James Braid Links gem. This excellently manicured course is over 100 years old and offers Links Golf at its most testing, whilst boasting a fine pro shop, and well-appointed clubhouse.
High on the opposite bank to the picturesque fishing village of Eyemouth this course is a delightfully mixture of seaside and Links golf and offers much pleasure to golfers of all standards, look out for the 6th its reckoned one of the hardest holes in all Scotland. The modern clubhouse is as famous for its views as its food.
Duns is an ancient market town only 30 minutes away, right in the heart of rural lowland Scotland. Set in rolling country Duns golf course pleases everyone that plays its generous fairways. The new clubhouse is due to be completed in 2005.
